Pupils from all year groups at Darul Uloom were given the task to raise funds for local and international charities and causes. Our aim was to surpass last year’s total\u00a0and assist in many more projects this year.<\/p>\n
Last year we donated to Islamic Relief, British Heart Foundation, Age UK and\u00a0Rainbows Children\u2019s Hospice. This year, pupils appealed to their friends and family and close ones to once again donate towards building community ties within our multi-cultural city and assist those that are in need.<\/p>\n
The Fun Day was the final day on which pupils enjoyed a range of activities and foods all in the name of charity and managed to raise the final total to over \u00a313,000.<\/p>\n
We would like to thank all those who contributed to this year’s projects, especially our students and volunteers who made the Fun Day possible and enjoyable for all. We make dua that Allah (SWT) grant them the best of rewards in this world and in the Akhirah,\u00a0ameen.<\/p>\n
